Ingredients
8 oz linguine pasta
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 lemon, zest and juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the asparagus pieces to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the cooked linguine pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese before serving.
Serve hot and enjoy!
